Lemon Dill Sauce

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Melding Time: At least a few hours, best overnight

Serves: 4 servings as a sauce, 6 servings as a dip (makes about ¾ cup total)

This versatile sauce is perfect as a veggie dip, but it also shines when drizzled over chicken, fish, or steak. The flavor is similar to ranch dressing with it’s own twist.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt or sour cream

  • 1 tbsp olive oil, add more for consistency

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed, more to taste)

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 4-6 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients in a blender or whisk by hand

  2. Best made the night before to meld the flavors, but a few hours will work as well (otherwise it will taste bland initially)
